There's a leak at one of the line connections

Water leaking from one of the line connections could be a sign of a bad cut in the line itself. 


To check, first, turn off the tank's ball valve and turn off the cold water supply from the feed water adapter. Next, turn on the drinking water faucet lever slightly to release any built-up pressure. 

Press on the quick connection collet to release the line that is leaking. 

Next, check for a straight cut on the line. If you are unsure, trim a small amount of the line off and reconnect to the quick connect. 

Turn on the ball tank valve and cold water supply and retest the connections for leaks by running the water.
