If your tracking has not updated recently, your package may still be moving through the carrier’s network.
Carrier tracking can sometimes pause due to routing delays, missed scans, or temporary scanning gaps. This can make it look like a package is not moving, even when it is still in transit.
Common Tracking Statuses
Your tracking may show a status such as:
- In Transit
- Delayed
- Pending
- Label Created
- Shipment Information Sent
These statuses usually mean the carrier is still processing, scanning, or moving the shipment.
What to Do First
If your tracking has not updated:
- Check the tracking link directly through the carrier
- Allow additional time for the carrier to update the scan history
- Review the estimated delivery date, if one is available
- Check again later for updated movement
Most delayed shipments begin moving again within a few business days.
