If the display screen is blank, black, or not responding, the control head may not be receiving power. Follow the steps below to identify the issue.
You may notice:
- No display on the screen
- A blank or black screen
- No response when pressing buttons
These symptoms typically indicate a power-related issue that can often be resolved with basic troubleshooting.
Step 1: Check the Power Source
Make sure the system is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Confirm the outlet is functional by testing it with another device.
- If needed, plug the system into a different outlet.
- Make sure the power adapter is fully inserted into both the outlet and the control head.
If the display returns after checking the power source, continue to Step 2.
If the screen remains blank, contact Aquasure Support for further assistance.
Step 2: Perform a Factory Reset
Perform a factory restore according to your system’s reset procedure.
This can help reset the control head if the display returns but the system is not responding properly.
Step 3: Run a Manual Regeneration
If the factory restore is successful, run a manual regeneration cycle to refresh the system and confirm the control head is operating properly.
If the display remains blank, the reset does not work, or the control head still does not respond, contact Aquasure Support for further assistance.
Outdoor Installations
If the unit was installed outdoors and the control head is no longer powering on, the control head may need to be replaced. Control heads damaged by outdoor exposure are not covered under warranty.
