If your system is displaying an error code or not responding properly, follow the steps below to reset the control head and check internal connections.
Step 1: Check the Power Source
- Confirm the system is plugged into a working outlet.
- Test the outlet with another device.
- If needed, plug the system into a different outlet.
Restoring power may immediately resolve display errors or system unresponsiveness.
If the issue continues, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Perform a Factory Reset
Attempt a factory restore according to your system’s reset procedure.
A factory reset can clear minor system faults or display errors.
If the system begins operating normally after the reset, perform a manual regeneration cycle to refresh the system.
If the issue persists, continue to Step 3.
Step 3: Check Internal Cable Connections
Before proceeding, disconnect the unit from power.
- Remove the screws on the back plate of the control valve.
- Carefully remove the back cover to expose the internal components.
- Locate the blue cables inside the valve.
- Confirm both blue cables are securely connected to the white connector piece.
- If any cables are loose, reconnect them securely.
- Reassemble the control head and restore power.
Once reassembled, power the system back on and check whether the issue is resolved. If the system begins operating normally, perform a manual regeneration cycle to refresh the system.
If the issue continues after completing these steps, contact Aquasure Support for further assistance.
Note: Loose internal cables can prevent the control head from functioning properly.
Outdoor Installations
If the unit is installed outdoors and the control head is not functioning properly, the control head may need to be replaced. Control heads damaged by outdoor exposure are not covered under warranty.
In these cases, contact Aquasure Support to discuss replacement options.
